Whetu is one of our best-selling models because it’s perfect for commuting and for riding the compact gravel bike trails all around New Zealand.

The classic frame offers an upright riding position and an old school look. Front suspension and 3-way adjustable ergonomic saddle and grips offer a comfortable ride and the adjustable headstem can be set to your riding style. Equip with mudguards, lights are rear carrier rack means it’s ready to roll.

Specifications

Motor: 350W, 36V Bafang brushless mid-drive motor.

1:1 Intelligent Pedal Assist – meaning you must pedal to get powder assist. No throttles here.

Cap can be set to 25km or 34km. It does not stop you from going faster if you can pedal faster, the motor just stops assisting once it reaches the cap.

Battery: 36V 13AH Lithium Samsung Battery. Averages 50 to 70 KM per charge for average conditions.

Charger: 2A charger. 4 to 6 hours charge time. Uses about 120w for the first two hours of charge and reaches 80% full. Afterwards the draw is minimal.
